Reven expands access to hospital records

A new step toward bringing your medical history into Reven: connect a supported health system, authorize access and review the records it makes available, from allergies and prescriptions to laboratory reports.

Your medical history, closer at hand

Medical information often lives across different patient portals. Reven is expanding its hospital connections so you can bring an authorized copy of the records available from a supported health system into the app, without entering each item by hand.

The connection flow has already completed a real, patient-authorized import. We are now extending access to more health systems while continuing to validate what each connection can retrieve.

What you can bring into Reven

The integration supports reading medical information made available through your authorized hospital connection, including:

  • Recorded conditions and diagnoses.
  • Allergies.
  • Prescriptions.
  • Laboratory results and reports, when available.

You can review the imported information with its hospital source and import status. This is a read-only connection: importing a copy into Reven does not change your hospital’s medical record.

A wider network, with clear limits

As of October 30, 2026, Reven has enabled connections for 451 health systems, covering 979 associated entries in the US directory we use. A health system can include multiple organizations and locations; these figures are not a count of individual hospitals or completed patient imports.

The first real connection has been tested with an authorized patient. Patient imports from the other systems still need validation. An enabled connection does not guarantee that every account can retrieve every category of record. Check the availability shown in the app for your institution.

You choose what to connect

Select an available institution in Reven, sign in through its patient portal and review the requested access. Reven does not receive your hospital password. Records are imported only after you authorize the connection, and the hospital determines what is available to your account.

The current flow imports a copy rather than maintaining continuous background access. Updating your records requires another authorization. Disconnecting stops new imports but keeps the existing copy; deleting the connection and its records removes that copy from Reven’s active systems, without deleting the hospital’s original record.

An imported report may not contain every result

A laboratory report can be available even when its individual values, units or reference ranges have not been retrieved. Imports may include only part of your history. Missing information should not be read as a normal result or the absence of a condition.

This release focuses on connecting, importing and reviewing records. Imported hospital records are not currently added to Reven’s AI conversations or follow-up. Bringing them into that context is a separate step, with its own disclosure and applicable permission.

We are continuing to validate connections and improve the completeness of imports. The aim is to make your medical history easier to access in Reven, while keeping its source and any missing information clear.
